The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert last week for 75-year-old Alma Fowler, who has ties to Mayfield, Kentucky, and went missing from Benton County, Tennessee.

According to officials, Fowler was last seen near Herrington Road in Camden, Tennessee, wearing a green puffy jacket, tan jeans, white snow boots and a white headband. She is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Authorities believe she may be traveling on foot.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office has been working with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office to share information locally due to Fowler’s connections to the Mayfield community. The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Jackson District is assisting in the search efforts both on the ground and in the air.

Officials say Fowler has a medical condition that may impair her ability to return safely without assistance. No additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance have been released.

Anyone with information regarding Fowler’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Graves County Sheriff’s Office at 270-247-4501, the Benton County, Tennessee, Sheriff’s Office at 731-584-4632, or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
