Downtown Wingo Receives Internet Hotspot

A new community service has been provided in Wingo, thanks to West Kentucky and Tennessee Telecommunications Cooperative. There is now free wifi access in Downtown Wingo. The Wingo Lions Club building now has internet and a guest password that can be used even outside in the parking lot.  If anyone is ever in need of internet service, residents are encouraged to come to the building and the password will be displayed in the window. It’s free to use, at any time.

During covid, the free service was available at Wingo Elementary School, though was not continued after. The Wingo Lions Club heard that the need was still viable, and was called to action.

The Wingo Lions Club hopes this is of assistance, and thanks WK&T for their part in this community service.
