The Mayfield–Graves County Needline and Food Pantry will again hold its senior citizen commodities distribution on Friday, November 21, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The event will take place at Needline, located at 424 S. 9th Street in Mayfield.

The program serves local residents age 60 and older who have already signed up and been approved for senior food commodities. Due to recent changes, participation numbers have been reduced, and organizers emphasize that this week’s distribution will be first come, first serve. Seniors who qualify are strongly encouraged to attend.

Those picking up food are asked not to arrive before 7 a.m., and to use the Walnut Street entrance, following traffic cones to ensure a safe and smooth process.

Residents who may qualify — or those who know someone in need — can call 270-247-6333 for information on eligibility and available assistance. Phone hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
