The Need Grows For Host Agencies

As participation grows in the West Kentucky Allied Services employment program, so does the need for host agencies willing to provide job placement opportunities for older adults in the region.

Many seniors in western Kentucky face barriers to employment — including age discrimination, outdated job skills, or gaps in work history. Through the program, these individuals receive training and on-the-job experience to help them reenter the workforce and achieve financial stability.

West Kentucky Allied Services is now encouraging businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to consider becoming host agencies. By doing so, they can support their own mission and operations while also giving older adults a second chance to work, learn, and contribute to the community.

“Together, we can help older adults achieve financial independence and continue contributing to our community,” the organization shared. Anyone interested in partnering or learning more is encouraged to reach out with questions.
