As the holiday season approaches, Graves County ASAP and its Youth Council are offering a simple act of support for anyone in need. On November 24, residents are invited to stop by Speedwash between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. for the “Loads of Kindness” event — where laundry will be washed completely free of charge.
The Youth Council created the event to show kindness to the community during a financially stressful time of year. The message is simple: “Need a boost this season? We’ve got you.” There are no requirements or questions asked — anyone is welcome to participate.
While laundry costs will be covered, individuals will be responsible for washing and handling their own clothing on-site. Organizers ask participants to come during the scheduled hours and note that machines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
