There’s still time to lace up and join this year’s LL Fitness for Women Turkey Trot, with race-day registration available for anyone who hasn’t signed up yet. Even better, all proceeds from the event will benefit the Mayfield and Graves County Food Pantry and Need Line, helping local families in need this holiday season.
Participants will gather Thursday morning in the parking lot of Mayfield High School, where registration and packet pick-up begin at 7:00 a.m. The race will officially kick off at 8:00 a.m.
This year’s route is scenic and not hilly, making it a great option for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. Community members who live along the route are encouraged to come outside, cheer, and wave signs of encouragement as runners pass by.
“Your support makes this event so much fun,” organizers said. “It’s more than a race. It’s a way for our community to come together and give back.”
The Turkey Trot aims to blend fitness, community spirit, and service, offering participants a meaningful way to start Thanksgiving morning.
Residents are encouraged to sign up, show up, or simply cheer from the sidelines to support a great cause
