The Mayfield Graves County Art Guild is kicking off a fresh season of art education with the return of its community classes. This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, the guild will host a Watercolor for Beginners class at the Ice House Gallery, offering residents a chance to learn landscape watercolor painting just in time for the holiday season.
The class will be led by Guild artist Paula Trojahn, who will guide painters through techniques to create vibrant, seasonal artwork. Coffee will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring snacks or drinks to enjoy during the session.
Guild leaders say the class is a great opportunity to try something new, meet fellow artists, and add a little creative joy to the month of December.
The cost is $40 for non-members and $35 for members, and all ages are welcome. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
