A Mother Goose Academy Employee charged in connection with an accidental fall involving an infant has reached a deferred prosecution agreement.
At a pre-trial conference Wednesday, Morgan Weaver’s charge of second-degree wanton endangerment was deferred for one year, meaning it will be dismissed if she avoids further legal trouble and pays court costs.
The incident involved a 6-month-old child who suffered minor injuries, prompting an investigation by Mayfield Police Department and The Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Weaver had been suspended from Mother Goose, but the daycare has not said if she’ll return to work.
