Cave-in-Rock Ferry is Closed Due to High Winds

Paducah, KY (March 26, 2024) — The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is temporarily closed due to high winds.  The ferry halted service about 11:30 a.m., CDT.

Winds have created hazardous conditions on the Ohio River at the ferry crossing.

The ferry will remain closed until further notice.

The Cave-in-Rock Ferry will provide timely notice when winds drop to a point where service can resume.
