Many schools across the city and county held celebrations in honor of our veterans yesterday.
Former principal Billy Kinsey returned to Graves County Sedalia Elementary to be their Veterans Day speaker.
Sedalia Elementary posted Kinsey leading Sedalia in their school chant, bringing back special memories for former students.
Kinsey delivered a powerful message to students about ways they can serve our country right now, followed by presentations of poetry, art and music from students of all ages.
“Thank you to our veterans that came to our assembly today. It was our honor to have you join us. A special thank you to Mr. Kinsey,” said Sedalia Elementary in a post. “Thank you to our cafeteria staff, Mr. Blake, and Ms. Gerard for all of their work to make today happen!”
