Several members of the Graves County Fishing Team competed Saturday in an SAF tournament hosted by the Marshall County Anglers, braving cold weather alongside a field of 82 boats.
Jake Buzanis and Michael Harris led the way for Graves County, finishing in second place with a total catch of 16 pounds, 15 ounces.
Hunter Legens and Luis Garcia secured a ninth-place finish with 5 pounds, 15 ounces, while Coleman Winstead and Maddox Stamper placed 26th with 2 pounds, 7 ounces.
Team supporters say the strong showings reflect the students’ commitment, teamwork and continued growth as the season moves forward.
