The Holiday Heroes Blood Drive concluded last week after three days of donations, collecting a total of 79 units of blood.
The American Red Cross expressed gratitude to Concord United Methodist Church for hosting the drive and to all donors who participated. Anthony Tinin, Account Manager for the Kentucky Region of the American Red Cross, said the ongoing need for blood makes community involvement especially important.
“The need for blood is constant, so if you missed this blood drive, go to the Red Cross donor app or www.redcrossblood.org to find a donation opportunity near you,” Tinin said.
For those looking for another opportunity to donate, a blood drive will be held at the Graves County Public Library on January 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donors are encouraged to participate and help save lives.
