A home explosion in Obion County on Monday morning has claimed a second victim. Daryl McGuire, 54, passed away Monday night at a Memphis hospital from injuries sustained in the blast. His wife, Paula McGuire, 55, died earlier that morning.
Authorities from the Obion County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation responded to the explosion at the Jim Carver Road residence around 6:30 a.m. The incident was deemed accidental, attributed to a propane leak from a ventless heater inside the home.
