Mayfield Police Blotter Weekend of May 5

On May 4, 2024, the Mayfield Police Department responded to a call of a reckless driver operating at a high rate of speed coming toward town.  Officers were able to locate and conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle.  Jordan Norsworthy, age 23 of Murray, was arrested, and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol 1st Offense, Speeding 16 MPH over the Limit, and Possession of an Open Alcohol Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle.  He was lodged in the Marshall County jail.

 

On 05/05/2024, Mayfield Police Department Officers arrested Joseph Sullivan, age 19, pursuant to a traffic stop.  Sullivan was placed under arrest, and charged with Operating Motor Vehicle Under Influence of Alcohol- 1st Offense, Possession of Open Alcohol Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle Prohibited, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, and Speeding 18 MPH Over the Limit.  Sullivan was transported to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center, and turned over to the Graves County Jail for transport to Marshall County.

 

On May 5, 2024, the Mayfield Police Department arrested 65-year-old Joe Curtis of Mayfield pursuant to a traffic stop.  Curtis was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol 1st Offense (Aggravating Circumstance).  He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

 

On May 5, 2024,  the Mayfield Police Department arrested 32-year-old Emilio Rodriguez of Mayfield after Officers were called to a residence for a disturbance.  Rodriguez was charged with Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) No Visible Injury, and was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
