Kathy O’Nan joined Jesse Perry at the annual City/County Government Blender, sponsored by the Mayfield-Graves County Chamber of Commerce, where she provided an update on city finances and future development plans.
During her presentation, Mayor O’Nan addressed the frequently asked question, “Where did that money go?” through a detailed PowerPoint presentation outlining expenditures and recovery-related investments. She also unveiled the City’s 2025 Accomplishments Banner, recognizing achievements made by each department over the past year.
As Mayfield moves into its next phase of recovery and rebuilding, the mayor emphasized a renewed focus on economic development in the downtown area. She announced appointments to the Mayfield Kentucky Industrial Authority, which will oversee development of city-owned properties.
Additionally, a City Council-led group is now organizing and working to develop incentive packages aimed at attracting developers interested in locating in affected areas.
