The annual Shop with a Deputy program took place on Saturday, December 13th, bringing holiday joy to local children and families.
The morning began at Pryorsburg Baptist Church, where Pastor Marshall Ivey and church members provided breakfast for the children, their families, and law enforcement. After breakfast, each child was paired with a deputy or law enforcement representative and traveled to Walmart, where they had the chance to shop for Christmas gifts under supervision.
The program is funded through Independence Bank of Mayfield, with proceeds from their annual tractor drive, along with additional community donations.
An extended thank you to Pastor Ivey and his congregation, Independence Bank President Darvin Towery and Lindsey Shankle, tractor drive participants, Graves County Schools Transportation for providing a bus, and the deputies and families who volunteered their time.
