On 02/17/2026 at approximately 3 a.m. Deputies responded to report of a four wheeler being inside Mike Miller Park after hours. Deputies discovered vandalism to one of the statues at the veterans plaza. Deputies heard a four wheeler off in the distance. Upon locating the four wheeler a brief foot pursuit ensued.
Deputies successfully apprehended two male juveniles. One being sixteen years old from Paducah and the other seventeen years old from Calvert City. The charges were criminal mischief 1st degree (class D felony), criminal trespassing 2nd degree (class B misdemeanor), and fleeing or evading police 2nd degree (class A misdemeanor).
The juveniles were lodged in the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
