On Jan. 5, the McCracken County Coroner provided an update on unidentified remains discovered on Dec 4, 2025 in a wooded area at Tennessee and 13th Streets in Paducah. Coroner Amanda Melton initially confirmed that no foul play was suspected in the case.
“Through the diligent work of the Coroner’s office, Paducah Police detectives, and the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s office, the remains were determined to be those of a 35 year old white female from Bowling Green, Kentucky.” Coroner Melton said in a press release. “No foul play was determined. Her name will not be released.”
