As our region heads into the coldest part of winter, many local families are still struggling without the basic items they need to stay warm. The need is real and urgent, and donations right now can make an immediate difference.
Graves County ASAP continues to collect coats of all sizes, along with blankets, gloves, mittens, and new socks only, as part of its ongoing Winter Warmth Drive. Even a single donated item can provide warmth, comfort, and safety for someone facing the winter months without adequate resources.
Donations can be dropped off at the Graves County Health Department’s back door/exchange area. GCASAP encourages anyone who has been planning to donate to do so soon, noting that the drive will conclude on January 10th.
With freezing temperatures becoming more frequent, GCASAP says community support is critical to ensuring neighbors don’t go without heat-protective essentials this winter. For those able to help, now is the time. Your donation today could mean a warmer, safer winter for a local family
