Mrs. Laurine Wood age 95 of Mayfield passed away at 8:55 PM Wednesday November 5, 2025 at Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield. She was born in Fancy Farm, KY on Thursday, July 3, 1930. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She is survived by one son; Michael Wood, Flint, MI. and one sister: Norma Holmes, Mayfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; Oliver and Piccalo Hart McAlister, her husband; Bob Wood, three brothers and two sisters. Private graveside services will be conducted Monday at Camp Beauregard Cemetery in Water Valley. There will be no visitation. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
