Mr. Leonard Smith, age 77, of Hickory passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah, KY.

He was of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of C. B. Goodman & Sons Lumber Company.

Mr. Smith is survived by two sons, Scotty (Tracy) Smith of Wingo, KY and Michael P. (Nicole) Smith of Hickory, KY; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Lynn Smith; one brother, Jessie Newman Smith; two sisters, Alma Buckingham and Elizabeth Gilford; and his parents, Alford and Lottie Hensley Smith.

Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Smith will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Joey Green will officiate.  Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Michael Lynn Smith, Amber Brantley, Roger Travis, Chris Travis and Chase Brantley.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home
