Mr. Robert W. “Butch” McClure, age 80 and a resident of Mayfield, passed away at 10:52 A.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Hickman County, KY on Friday, May 18, 1945. He was a member of Saint Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm and retired from Quality Control department at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, TN. He is survived by his wife; Judy Willett McClure, one son; Robert W. ( Becky) McClure, Jr., Obion, TN., one daughter; Traci Ann Kress, Madison, WI., two step sons; Alan (Lesley) Webster and Brian (Christy) Webster both of Fancy Farm., three sisters; Bennette Atwell, Clinton, Sheila (Ronnie) Oliver, Mayfield, Nancy (Tommy) Ballard, Farmington, four brothers; Brantferd “Junior” (Linda) McClure, Fulgham, William “Bill” (Cynthia) McClure, of TX., Ronnie (Virginia) McClure of N.C. and Lonnie (Glenda) McClure, Fulgham, eight grandchildren; Sydney (Brian) Hawks, Lucas McClure, Jordan Kress, Chancey (Anna) Webster, Tanner (Sidney) Webster, Trey (Kennadie) Webster, Chase Webster and Michah Webster and two great granddaughters; Emma Webster and Joy Hawks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brantferd Cooper McClure, Sr. and Marjorie Bennette Jackson, McClure, a grandson; Johnathon Cagle, three brothers; Richard “Dickie” McClure, Phillip McClure and Jimmy McClure and a sister; Lou Ella McClure Roberts. Funeral services for Butch will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Saint Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with Rev. Glen Stewart and Father Darrell Venters officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Saint. Jerome Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from m 9:00 A.M. until 11: 00 A.M. Saturday. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of the arrangements.
